Isn’t it a shame that so many viewers in so many countries end up being advertised to by brands that mean nothing to them in their own domestic markets? In the modern age of global sports, it just doesn’t make sense anymore for just a handful of sponsors to monopolize limited numbers of banners on a football pitch, when the same sponsors have no interests in some of the countries where the game is being broadcasted.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way for pitch-side banners to be able to adapt to different countries and audiences, so that when an advertiser paid to have adverts seen by a target audience, that advertiser only had to pay for displaying to that specific audience.

Wouldn’t it be great if viewers could in turn relate to the messages displayed to them during the event they were watching?
